Sponsorship Terms and Benefits of Sponsorship

The management team of IB event 2010 will select three companies to become our IB event 2010 main sponsor.

The three main sponsors are divided into three categories:


1) Gold sponsor --- RM 3000 and above
2) Silver sponsor --- RM 1500 to RM 2999
3) Bronze sponsor --- RM 1000 to RM 1499

Benefits of Sponsorship

Gold Sponsor ( RM 3,000 and above)


 Company’s flyers will be distributed during the event.
 At the bottom of our advertisement at newspaper will write down the company name and also same at FM.
 1 Full colour page advertisement on our booklet.
 The company logo and name will appear at the background of the event.
 The company name will write on the all the banner and bunting.
 We will invite the company manager or the person in charge to the open ceremony.


Silver Sponsor ( RM 1,500 – RM 2,999)


 Company’s flyers will be distributed during the event.
 1 Full colour page advertisement on our booklet.
 The company logo and name will appear at the background of the event
 The company name will write on the all the banner and bunting.
 We will invite the company manager or the person in charge to the open ceremony.


Bronze Sponsor ( RM 1,000 – RM 1,499)


 Company’s flyers will be distributed during the event.
 1 Full colour page advertisement on our booklet.
 The company name will write on the all the banner and bunting.
 We will invite the company manager or the person in charge to the open ceremony.

Exhibition Term

JOURNEY TO WORLD PEACE



1. Area A (past)

Barter system will be presented at Area A and barter system set as the starting point of the exhibition. Barter system is an age-old method that was adopted by people to exchange their services and goods. The barter system was one of the earliest forms of trading. It facilitated exchange of goods and services, as money was not invented in those times. Barter system became popular in the 1930’s and has been in use throughout the world for centuries The barter system was used as a way of obtaining things like food and other services. The trading was done between people or through groups, who acted as agents and facilitated third party bartering. Relationship among the people can be improved through this system. When relationship become closer, culture exchange will exist. The main idea throughout this section is to enhance world peace using different point of view.

Besides this, video about the barter system will be display throughout the exhibition to attract people. So that public can have a better understanding about our event.


2. Area B (current)

In term of earning more profits in a short period for their country and to improve the country economic, people tend to use inappropriate way to take over the country. Sometimes this issue happen is to take control the country’s resources or to globalize the other country economic. In other words, they tend to steal the neighborhood country resources. Therefore, war happen as negotiation between the two parties cannot fulfill both requirements.

War actually take place and affect the surroundings. War eventually takes innocent people life and their habitat. Besides that, the specific country economic system also will be affected. Lastly, the country could not live in peace. Greed actually affect the surrounding people (self-centered) for own best only.

Example of the information will be exhibit is the War between the United State of America and Iraq for the oil in Iraq, South Africa having crisis where the money value became small and people tend to starving. Besides this, video about the information will be display throughout the exhibition to attract people.


3. Area C (solution to enhance world peace)

The organization that doing about the world peace activities or have related to the world peace issue will be exhibit, example WWF, World Vision, Tzu Chi and etc. The details of these organizations and the activities of they doing will be display on our booth. Through this, it will help the people to know the ways to enhance the world peace.


4. Area D (Future and information counter)

In area D, it will be the imagination of our future and what it should be. We will put a LCD for showing the video. The video is about world peace in the future and our dream. We will use a model of earth and wallpapers of peaceful world to decorate this area. In addition, we will decorate an area for photo session and have our information counter.


5. Area E

Peace Bell and Dream Tree will be the center of attraction of the exhibition. People can write their wishes that about the world peace on the peace bell and then hang it on the dream tree. Their wishes can be delivered to their friends and family as well as the victims of a natural disaster. Peace bell will be sold at RM1 each. The sales from the peace bell will be donated to charity purpose. The charity organization will be World Vision and Tzu-Chi.







Publicity and Promotion

Below are the details of publicity and promotion:

1. Flyers and Info Pamphlets
- Flyers will be distributed to the customer by MMU students in strategic location that is allowed by Mahkota Parade.
- The purpose on distributing the info pamphlets is to give an overview of the main concept event, brief timeline of the activities and short educational information regarding the “Enhance World Peace through and just with International Business”
- There are two types of flyers;

(a) Colored printed flyers
(b) Black and white flyers
- The colored printed flyers are the ones that will be used in promoting the event to the customers.

2. Banners and Buntings

- The banners and buntings will be hanged in front of the main entrance which leads to concourse and the surrounding area of Mahkota Parade. While the background of the stage will be hanged wide banners to highlight the main event to all the customers.

3. Media

- To invite and cooperate with several press such as from the newspaper, radio and television to generate more exposure to the public regarding the event so it can attract more people to visit Mahkota Parade, not only to be educated by main concept of the event but also having great shopping experience while being entertain with family and friends.
- This are the media that have higher chances of cooperating with our events for the moments are;
(a) RTM Melaka (Radio)
(b) Astro Awani
(c) BERNAMA TV
(d) Fly FM

4. Poster

- Posters will be pasted on the wall around Mahkota Parade especially in the crowded area such as near the Cinema, Food court or walking area.
- The posters will be pasted in a large amount of quantity and in the strategic places so more easily to seek attention from the customers.


5. Booklet
- Booklet is mainly to show an advertisement of the supporting sponsorship company and the appreciation from the MMU students on the behalf of the success International Business event.

IB EVENT'S MAIN SPONSORS

We are looking for the MAIN SPONSORS for our IB EVENT 2010. By getting sponsors, we believe that we can do our event more effective and successfully.

The main sponsors are divided into three categories:
1) GOLD SPONSOR
2) SILVER SPONSOR
3) BRONZE SPONSOR

Below are the explanation about 3 categories of MAIN SPONSOR:

GOLD SPONSOR ( RM 5000 and above )
2 booths will be provided during the fair and the company will be given the highest priority to choose the location for the booth.
Company’s flyers will be distributed during the event upon request.


SILVER SPONSOR ( RM 3,000 – RM 4999 )
1 booth will be provided during the fair and the company will be given the highest priority to choose the location for the booth after the gold sponsor.
Company’s flyers will be distributed during the event upon request.


BRONZE SPONSOR ( RM 2,000 – RM 2999 )
1 booth will be provided during the fair and the company will be given the highest priority to choose the location for the booth after the gold and silver sponsors.
Company’s flyers will be distributed during the event upon request.

Event’s Mission Statements
IB event is inspired by the following goals:
1. To inculcate cooperation between MMU students and the real business world.
2. To awaken the inner peace that dwells in the hearts of all beings.
3. Provide a learning platform to promote world peace through international business.

Event’s Vision Statements
1. To promote and protect the human rights of all people, regardless of race, color, sex, language, religion and political.
2. To achieve disarmament and the total elimination of all biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons in the world.
3. To encourage all schools from the primary grades to the university to offer peace education from a global perspective.
4. Educate the society on the importance of world peace.
5. To create world peace awareness.
